Whale, whale, who do we have here?
I was that kid who always asked, “Why and how?”
Growing up I was fed on a diet of stories woven from around the world, my imagination showed me where I could go while art and creativity made it my reality. A lifelong artist was born. My curiosity to discover was only second to my hunger to learn. Both have taken me to other cultures and languages, the highs of performing with a ballet company, the calm of paintbrush, the energy of a seoi nage❋, and the depths of design.
My inquisitive nature led me to earn a degree in Communications and Graphic Design. It taught me about the transformative power of art and design to communicate and connect human experiences. Every chapter in my life crafts new questions, teaches new skills, and informs my designs, guiding me to evolve and grow constantly.
My experience ranges from advertising, strategy design, and market research design to brand design, illustration, multimedia design, and UX/UI design while working with a broad range of clients and budgets. I believe in working hand-in-hand with clients to create tangible solutions that emotionally and functionally translate their intent. Through my work, I aim to connect, inspire, and inform. My art and design style is playful, intentional, imaginative, and accessible.
When not designing, you can find me drawing, browsing stationery stores, exploring state parks, going on picnics with my kitsuke✹ club, trying new bakeries, or with my nose in a book under an inappropriate number of blankets.
